Rainbow Schools

Rainbow Mililani opened in 1987. We are located in the heart of Mililani Town on the grounds of Christ Lutheran Church , although we are not affiliated with any religious denomination. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii , and also has the distinction of being nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1996.

Rainbow Mililani is a small, family-oriented preschool whose services are intended to meet the needs of young children between the ages of two years eight months and five years. Two classrooms for three year-olds each accommodate twelve children, with one teacher and one aide in each room. One classroom for four year-olds accommodates 25 children with one teacher and two aides.

Our playground is large and well-equipped. Due to Hawaii 's mild weather, gardening projects (funded through recycling aluminum cans) keep us busy throughout the year. The newest feature on our playground is a multi-textured 150-foot long tricycle path with a tunnel, and rubber chips under our climbing tree. Extra-curricular activities include gymnastics, music, and MadScience.
